ADHD Coaching is done by a professional who will provide wanted support, strategies, and guidance for individuals who are managing the challenges of ADHD (ADD included). This particular type of coaching is a process that helps individuals identify and manage their personal ADHD symptoms and achieve their goals through various techniques, such as effectively enhancing Effective Functioning skills.
While both ADHD coaches and life coaches assist clients in setting and achieving goals, ADHD coaches specialize in working with individuals with ADHD, offering tailored strategies and support to manage ADHD symptoms and improve overall functioning. Life coaches, on the other hand, work with a broader range of clients and goals, with less specialization in addressing specific challenges like ADHD.
Generally, ADHD coaching sessions typically last anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes per session. Some individuals may prefer shorter sessions due to attention span issues associated with ADHD, while others may find longer sessions more beneficial for in-depth discussions and goal setting.
Ultimately, the ideal session length should be determined through discussion between the coach and the client to ensure it aligns with the client's needs and ability to focus effectively. Additionally, flexibility may be required to adjust session lengths as needed based on progress, challenges, and individual circumstances. We provide accommodations. :)
